OKR Bridge Public Art Commission

Southwark Council is seeking a creative design team to prepare a public art and lighting scheme for the Old Kent Road Railway Bridge.

The design team – which should include a lighting designer – will be chosen via a two-stage judging process concluding in July 2023.

The winning team will receive artist/design fees up to £40k +VAT and the shortlisted entrants will receive a nominee award of £1k +VAT.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 7 June, 5pm.

The shortlist will be announced on 15 June 2023 and the winner chosen in July 2023.

Teams with local knowledge and local ties are encouraged and no design work is required to submit a first-stage, expression of interest.
