Locals Back the Bakerloo

Local residents at the February Old Kent Road forum took the opportunity to pledge their support for the Bakerloo line extension.

The monthly forums, held at Christ Church Peckham, are a chance to find out more about the plans to regenerate Old Kent Road, ask questions and meet the people involved.

At the most recent session, on 16 February, attendees also took the chance to pose for a social media snap pledging their support for the proposed Bakerloo line extension.

Extending the tube line from Elephant and Castle to Lewisham is fundamental to the regeneration of Old Kent Road. It will create three new stations in the area and it will speed up the delivery of new homes and jobs.
