Sandgate St, Verney Rd & OKR South Public Consultation

Have your say on new design guidelines for development in the Sandgate Street, Verney Road and Old Kent Road south area.

Southwark Council is working with Farrells to produce a design code for development in the Sandgate Street, Verney Road and Old Kent Road south area.

Farrells has arranged a number of sessions to involve the local community and businesses in the process.

The next two public consultation sessions will take place on 18 and 19 July at the Small Beer Brew Co on Verney Road. At these sessions, the team will present the draft Design Codes and Masterplan for the area.

The Design Code will apply to schemes between Sandgate Street and Verney Road (known as site allocation OKR 13 in the Old Kent Road Area Action Plan) which do not yet have planning consent and are not in phase 1 of the plan’s delivery.

If you have an interest in this area or just want to find out more, this is your chance to hear about the plans, so far, and to have your say.

There is no need to book, you can just drop-in at any point throughout the evening to participate.
