Jobs and training
The regeneration of Old Kent Road is creating many job and training opportunities.
More than 400 businesses – employing thousands of people – already operate in the area, covering everything from catering and publishing though to manufacturing. And 10,000 new jobs are expected to be created over the next few years. These include jobs on many of the new developments which are already being built in the area or are just about to start.
Some of the new jobs will be in construction – either on building sites or working in the back-office. Others will be created by the new businesses and employers that establish themselves in and around Old Kent Road as it continues to develop.
Even if you’re not qualified or don’t have the right skills for the jobs that are available now, there are opportunities to train for the jobs of the future.
If you want to find work or a training course, bookmark this page. It will be regularly updated with links to jobs and opportunities and will signpost you to where you need to go,
