Have your say on the plans
We’ve been consulting on the future of Old Kent Road and the draft Area Action Plan (AAP) since 2015.
In total, we’ve spent seven months on consultation, including 70 events and community meetings and we’ve received more than 2,000 responses to the plan.
In 2019 we published a summary of all the consultation undertaken since 2015. It included feedback from the most recent, formal consultation on the AAP as well as feedback from meetings, events and informal consultation. You can download a PDF copy or you can pick up a hard copy in East Street library .
The updated December 2020 version of the AAP was approved at Southwark Council’s Cabinet meeting on 8 December 2020 .
Read a summary of the main changes in the updated plan.
A further round of public consultation on this updated plan ran from January to May 2021.
But the consultation doesn’t end here
We want to continue to inform and engage with the local community all the way through the regeneration.
So we will:
- Keep this website up to date with all the latest news, events and planning applications
- Arrange regular meetings and events to answer questions from the community
- Provide space for the community to hold its own meetings and events, and for the permanent display of plans and models at 231 Old Kent Road.
We have also set up a Community Review Panel to comment on proposed developments before planning applications are submitted. Find out more
