The consultation on the final draft of the Old Kent Road Area Action Plan begins today, 28 February, and runs for six weeks.

Southwark Council is holding several events for the public to come and find out more about the plans to redevelop Old Kent Road.

Drop-in and have your say

There will be a series of four coffee mornings at the 231 Old Kent Road community space.

These will be a chance to meet members of the planning team, explore an architect’s model of potential developments in the neighbourhood and get answers to your questions.

These sessions take place on:

  • Friday 14 March from 10:30am to 1pm
  • Saturday 15 March from 11am to 1:30pm
  • Friday 4 April from 10:30am to 1pm
  • Saturday 5 April from 11am to 1:30pm

There will also be a presentation on the Bakerloo Line Extension on Monday 17 March from 5pm to 6:30pm.

On Tuesday 8 April there will be another small exhibition featuring models and information at the Livesey Exchange (LEX 2) 567 Old Kent Road.

All the events are free and there is no need to book, just drop-in on the day.
